Pastry Chef Anne Thornton Accused of Plagiarizing Recipes, Fired From Food Network

Pastry chef Anne Thornton, host of the show Dessert First on The Food Network, has had her show cancelled amid of allegations that she plagiarized recipes from Martha Stewart and Ina Garten. The Food Network says her show was cancelled due to low ratings. Here The Today Show takes a look at the shocking allegations. We love how the anchors ridicule The Washington Post for "going all Woodward and Bernstein on her" by digging up a lemon bar recipe that is suspiciously similar to a 1999 recipe by Ina Garten. Thornton told The New York Post that there are only so many ways you can make lemon bars, so of course the recipes are similar. She also said she had not heard of the allegations until the Post called. Take a look:
