The 4,229 passengers and crew who are still stuck on the powerless cruise ship Carnival Triumph will soon see an end to their horrifying ordeal. The ship, which has been without power for six days due to a fire, will limp into port at Mobile, Alabama around midnight tonight. The ship is being towed in by tugboats, although one of the lines snapped, slowing things down even further.
Passengers are stuck in filthy, hot cabins with raw sewage running down the walls from all the overflowing toilets. There have been fights for food and hoarding. It's incredibly filthy, with urine soaked carpets and spoiled food. Doctors say passengers may become quite ill even two weeks after being exposed to raw sewage. CNN has a helicopter over the ship and talks to a passenger about life on board the cruise ship.
