Oprah Winfrey Receives Power Award at Essence Black Women in Hollywood Event

Oprah Winfrey was honored at Essence's Black Women in Hollywood event. Oprah received the Power Award at the sixth annual luncheon. On the red carpet Oprah talked about awards and accolades. She says that like all women every day she gets up and does her best. She says awards are just a way of saying that she's moving in the right direction. Oprah looked absolutely fantastic. She wore her hair curly, which is rare for her, and her skin was just glowing. Ratings are up at OWN now that she's doing more interviews, so perhaps it's just her happiness showing through.
