Natalie Portman, who won the Best Actress Oscar last year for her role in
Black Swan, wore a vintage Dior Haute Couture gown. The 1954 bright red and black polka dot strapless gown was from Rare Vintage. The color is great on her, but waist is too small even for tiny Natalie. In the high resolution, close up shots you can see how the seams are crooked because they are pulled so tight. Natalie wore some stunning jewels by Harry Winston, including a diamond necklace, and large diamond drop earrings.
Natalie also wore a diamond ring that her jeweler, Jamie Wolf,
says is a wedding ring. The ring was visible as Natalie presented the Oscar for Best Actor,
won by Jean Dujardin. Natalie may have quietly married her fiance,
Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied. Millepied was also spotted with a wedding band at the event.
