Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan has recorded a radio spot for the Atlantic City Alliance. Mallory is from Brooklyn, New York. She was
crowned Miss American in January after being
Miss New York 2012. Mallory's message will invite New Yorkers to Atlantic City. The radio spot also says New Jersey is open for business following Superstorm Sandy.
The Miss America pageant itself is
moving from Las Vegas to Atlantic City. The pageant was founded in Atlantic City in 1921. It remained in New Jersy until it moved to Las Vegas in 2006. Now, the pageant heads back to Atlantic City following a six-year stint in Vegas.
