Microsoft has announced the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop. The desktop is the
latest evolution of Microsoft's Natural line of ergonomic products which was first launched in 1994. The desktop includes the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse.
Microsoft says the split keyboard layout is designed to help position the wrists and forearms in a natural, relaxed position. The internal codename for the keyboard at Microsoft is "Manta Ray" because of its shape. The mouse is taller than most mice. Microsoft says this taller design helps reduce the contact between desktop surface and the underside of your hand, which helps minimize carpal tunnel pressure.
The Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop has an MSRP of $129.95. It can be purchased here
on Microsoft.com. It can also be ordered on Amazon.com
