Marijuana Edibles Business Soaring After Colorado Legalizes Cannabis

Thomas Behler of Ganja Gourmet shows off his marijuana laced wares to CNN's Ana Cabrera. Marijuana edibles is a growing business, especially in California and Colorado. Peanut butter, candies, sugarfree lollipos, cookies are all available for those who have no interest in smoking. Morgan Iwersen of Canyon Cultivation explains how dosing of THC is much easier to control in edibles than in cigarettes. They make a hash oil in their lab and do the math to ensure dosing is correct. Love's Oven makes $300,000 a month selling baklava. They used canna butter, which is marijuana trimmings roasted in butter for 24 hours. The canna butter is baked into each treats. To date they have only sold to medical marijuana dispenaries, but with Colorado legalizing the recreational use of marijuana their business is set to explode. Colorado will regulate how the edibles are made and will require child-resistant packaging. Take a look:
