Louis Vuitton has gone with a checkerboard theme for its Spring 2013 campaign. The yellow and black checkerboard background matches the colors on some of the pieces from the spring 2013 collection. It also matches the set from the Paris Spring 2013 fashion show last October.
WWD reports that artist Daniel Buren, who designed Louis Vuitton's fashion show set, also created the graphic for the ad. Buren will also be designing checkerboard window displays for stores. The Spring 2013 ads were shot by photographer Steven Meisel.
