LG Electronics has announced it will unveil its new robotic vacuum, the LG Hom-Bot Square, at the 2013 CES. LG says the robot features improved sensors, dual cameras and longer brushes. The robot also features low noise levels of 60 decibels.
LG says Hom-Bot Square's Dual Eye 2.0 cameras scan and map rooms even when the lights are off. The cameras take several images per second and scan ceiling, walls and floors to determine the most efficient cleaning route. The robot has a learning function, so it can remember areas it has already cleaned. It also has corner detecting sensors.
