Krispy Kreme to Launch K-Cup Packs for Keurig Brewing System

Krispy Kreme has plans to launch K-Cup packs for the Keurig brewing system from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR). The K-Cup packs will be available by the end of 2014. Krispy Kreme will offer its Smooth and Decaf blends in the K-Cup format.

Jim Morgan, Chairman, President and CEO of Krispy Kreme, said in the announcement, "GMCR is the pioneer of single cup brewing technology, and we are proud to partner with such a highly regarded company. We look forward to bringing the joy of our great Krispy Kreme coffee into the homes of consumers through the convenience of the Keurig system."

Krispy Kreme also recently announced it will soon start offering bottled iced coffee in select Walmart stores.
