KitchenAid has announced a Pro Line Electric Kettle. The 1440 Watt electric kettle holds up to 51 ounces of water. It features a water level gauge with display window for precise measurement. The kettle also features an external temperature dial that can set be from 50 to 100 degrees C.
The start button illuminates when heating has begun and progressing white lights blink to indicate the rising temperature and time remaining. A soft chime sounds when the water temperature has reached the desired setting.
The impressive looking kettle costs $199.99. It is available in Candy Apple Red, Frosted Pearl White, Onyx Black, Silver Medallion and Sugar Pearl.
