Kids Try to Figure Out Walkmans in The Fine Brothers Video

The Sony Walkman was a popular portable audio cassette player in the 1980s and 1990s. The devices have been replaced by MP3 players and smartphones. The Fine Brothers put Walkmans in front of kids aged 6 to 13 to see what they thought of it. Some of the kids initially had no idea what to do with or how it worked.

One girl said she felt like Indiana Jones as she explored the ancient device. The younger kids had never heard of or seen a cassette tape. Almost all the kids were shocked that you could only hear sound from the device by wearing headphones.

They were horrified by how the rewind and fast forward buttons worked and by the limited number of songs it could store. They thought $200 was a lot to pay for the device, except for one boy who noted that the iPad costs $700. Take a look:
