Regis Philbin will host the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC. The special features performance by Katy Perry and Kenny Chesney. Katy Perry is pictured rehearsing for the event. More than 40,000 firework shells will ignite the sky over the Hudson River. The fireworks are choreographed to "Ignite the Night," the theme of the 36th annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks display. The show will air on Wednesday, July 4th from 9-10 p.m. ET, 8-9 p.m. CT.
