Julia Roberts Walks Red Carpet at 2014 Emmy Awards

Julia Roberts wears Elie Saab on 2014 Emmys red carpet

Julia Roberts looked absolutely fantastic on the red carpet at the 2014 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Julia wore a navy blue short dress by Elie Saab that featured a deep v-neck with sheer silk chiffon embellished with navy blue, midnight blue, and black large beads and crystals.

The dress featured a peplum and a short swingy skirt that showed off her long legs. Julia accessorized with sky high platform heels by Christian Louboutin. She wore her long blonde hair down in a center part. Julia said she chose a short dress to avoid the trip factor that goes with long gowns.

Julia is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role as Dr. Emma Brookner in the HBO film The Normal Heart. She had to adapt to a wheelchair for the role as Dr. Brookner was a polio survivor. The film, which first aired on HBO in May, is an adaptation of the play about the HIV-AIDS crisis in the 1980s when the disease was not well-understood. Julia's husband, Daniel Moder, was the film's director of photography. Glee creator Ryan Murphy directed the film. Julia is also presenting an Emmy tonight.
