Goldwin, a high-end Japanese skiwear brand, is introducing two collection in the U.S. - its "Exclusive Model" line with is designed and hand crafted in Japan and its "All Mountain" collection. The collections will debut at the SIA Snow Show 2013 in Denver, Colorado.
Goldwin says themes of the Exclusive Model collection include minimal and clean design and its focus on kigokochi, which means "ease of wear." Only 200 sets of the collection will be available worldwide. The collection introduces a new color called Urushi Black, which is described as "a Japanese traditional lacquer ware color with luxurious black metallic trims." A jacket will cost $1,699 and pants will cost $699.
