Jacques Torres is Attempting to Break Chocolate Egg World Record

Posted on April 7, 2014

Chef Jacques Torres is attempting to break a Guinness World Record for a giant chocolate egg auction. He showed a huge 120-pound chocolate egg on the Today Show. The egg is over 24 inches wide. 260 eggs all about the same size as this huge chocolate egg will be auctioned at Rockefeller Center on April 18th to raise money for charity.

Torres says the huge chocolate eggs are not solid all the way through, but they are very thick.

Torres also shared some chocolate recipes with Today.

Torres also made an amazing chocolate Easter egg in 2011. His egg resembled coral under the sea with chocolate fish swimming in and out of it.
