Best Supporting Actress nominee Jacki Weaver walked the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards. Jacki was nominated for her role in
Silver Linings Playbook but lost out to Anne Hathaway, who won for her role as Fantine in
Les Miserables. This was Jacki's second Oscar nomination. She looked lovely
on the red carpet in a red gown by Rani Zakhem which featured a beaded bodice and sleeves and a long, gored trumpet skirt with a short train. Jacki accessorized with a diamond cocktail ring, a diamond bracelet and diamond earrings, all by Forevermark. Deadline
reports that Jacki has just been cast in the new
CBS/Sony comedy pilot,
The McCarthys. The Australian actress will
play the matriarch of a sports-obsessed, Irish-Catholic Boston family.
The pilot is directed by Fred Savage.
