Inauguration Could Help Spread the Flu

The CDC announced in its latest flu telebriefing that influenza is considered widespread in 48 states. They also say the rate of hospitalizations in people 65 and older has been climbing for the past two weeks. Crowds make it easier for the flu to spread. Diane Sawyer and ABC News look at the possibility of the flu spreading at the Inauguration. There are expected to be at least 600,000 visitors in D.C. for the event and some of them are bound to be carrying the flu virus. The video shows a sneezing child can spread ten times more flu viruses than an adult. Take a look:
