How Artificial Christmas Trees are Made

National Geographic explains how artificial Christmas trees are made in this video. You need to travel to China to find the factory where the trees are made. The branches start out as flat strips of PVC. Machines shred the PVC to make needles. The branches created by the machines are too long for Christmas trees, so they are cut by hand. Take a look:
