Hasbro to Replace Existing Monopoly Token With New Token
Hasbro is going to remove one classic token from its Monopoly board game and replace it with a new token. The iron, racecar, thimble, shoe, top hat and battleship were among the original set of movers introduced in 1935. The Scottie dog and wheelbarrow were added in the early 1950s. These eight pieces make up the collection of tokens in the classic Monopoly board game.
Hasbro is letting people vote on Facebook which token should be permanently removed from the board game and which token should be added in its place.
Choices for the new token include a diamond ring, guitar, toy robot, cat or helicopter. Take a look:
