HarperCollins has announced plans to publish singer Cody Simpson's first book. The book,
Welcome to Paradise: My Journey, will be published on October 22, 2013. Cody can be seen emerging from a blue shed in a sleeveless jean jacket the above photograph.
Cody is only 16, but he does have some information to share with his fans. The Australian singer will tell the story of his background and about touring with another teen sensation, Justin Bieber. Like Bieber, Cody was also discovered on YouTube. Cody's
iYiYi music video, featuring Flo Rida, has over 23 million views.
Cody said in a statement, "It's incredibly exciting for me to be partnering with HarperCollins to tell my story. I hope that my journey inspires kids from all around the world to pursue their passions and work hard for their dreams."
