Hailee Steinfeld Covers May 2014 Issue of Nylon Magazine
Actress Hailee Steinfeld covers the May 2014 issue of Nylon magazine, which is the magazine's Young Hollywood issue. She is wearing a backwards leopard cap and jean jacket on the cover. Busy Hailee has four movies out this year: 3 Days to Kill, The Homesman, The Keeping Room and Barely Lethal. She recently joined the cast of Pitch Perfect 2. Hailee talked to Nylon about True Grit and being away from home. She also talks about her friendship with Taylor Swift.
On True Grit: "I realize now more than I did then what a big deal it was and what a big deal it is...For the longest time, so many people were coming up to me and saying 'It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,' and I would just nod my head. Now I realize I would do anything to work with that group of people again -- those actors, those directors...my God."
On Being Away From Home: "I have moments all the time where I realize how far away I am from home and all I want is to curl up in my bed and watch a movie, light a candle and be alone. Bust as often as I have those thoughts, I try not to take anything for granted, because I'm loving it."
On Taylor Swift: "I always get the 'Tell us something nobody knows [about Taylor] question. And it's like, we both respect each other tremendously, but we choose to keep our friendship out of the public eye. She's a really great person and an inspiration to me and many others."
