Haier unveiled a cordless blender at the 2013 CES. Electricity is transmitted to the blender using coupling technology. A special transmitter, containing an induction coil, has to be installed on the counter top in your kitchen. Then you can set the blender on the transmitter and energy is transferred to the mixer through the worktop.
