Ellie Goulding Covers August 2014 Issue of Self Magazine
Ellie Goulding shows off her abs on the cover the July 2014 issue of Self magazine. In the interview, Ellie says she was only average at sports as a child, but she's very fit now. She's in training for her fifth half-marathon. Ellie talks about her training and yoga. She also talks about her love of free running, which sounds like a great way to get injured.On Training: "My training is part of my life. It's something I need to do every day, because it affects my mood, my fitness, even my mind-set onstage."
On Yoga: "I get the biggest high when I do yoga. People don't realize that there's such an incredible drug in life that doesn't involve any substances."
On Free Running: "I'll go outside and jump between benches, pull myself up on things, crawl through things. I'll do anything that scares me. Once, I even walked across a log over a big ravine. I'd probably survive if I fell, but I would've been pretty hurt"
Ellie says the clothes from the Self shoot fit her tomboy image. She says likes heavy intense cardio and yoga to stay in shape. She says staying in shape helps her to be "small, agile and flexible" on the stage. Take a look:
