Disney is celebrating the arrival of its first baby store in Glendale, Calif. The store will celebrate its grand opening on September 8th. There will be a meet and greet photo opportunity with Winnie the Pooh and friends. The first 100 babies will receive special Disney Baby Mickey Mouse ears. The Disney Baby Store at The Americana at Brand is located at 889 Americana Way, Glendale, CA, 91210.
At the opening celebration, Bob Chapek, president of Disney Consumer Products, and actress Alison Sweeney, greeted more than 20 expectant military moms with Operation Shower, a non-profit organization that supports military families by hosting baby showers to ease the stress of deployment. Disney teamed with Operation Shower to honor the new moms and their families by treating them to a magical baby shower and complimentary shopping experience in the new store.
