Chris Robinson Attacks Taylor Swift, Says It's Embarrassing Adults Listen to Her Terrible Music

Chris Robinson, lead singer of the Black Crowes and ex-husband of Kate Hudson, is no fan of Taylor Swift. In fact, he went on a lengthy diatribe about how awful and untalented she is during an interview with Nylon Guys magazine. He says it's just embarrassing that any adults listen to her music and then talks about how he hates today's prepackaged acts. E! reports:
"I find it embarrassing that adults are like, 'Taylor Swift is very talented.' She's not. She might be cute, but she's horrible," he says. The Black Crowes lead singer claims he is a musical snob who can't stand packaged acts.

"They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same...When you have computers doing it all for you...there's no individuality," he says. "Singing isn't always about being on key; it's about emotionality."
We understand what he's saying about the outrageous use of Autotune and studio effects on albums, but that's the reality of the digital age. Taylor, unlike many of her contemporaries, actually sings live with no enhancements all the time. She's certainly not always "perfect" on stage, and she always has that "emotionality" he's ranting about.

As for her songwriting, there is room for all kinds of music. Trust us, he and Taylor Swift share no fans at all. There is no need to be such a jerk about Taylor, who is a talented and hardworking young woman. Just because he doesn't like her music doesn't mean many others don't love it. There are many people who would rather have total silence rather than listen to Chris croak out one of his tunes. Talk about needing some Autotune...
