Triumph Displays the Countdown to Marriage Bra

With 50% of Japanese women under the age of 34 being single, the country is facing a marriage crisis. Marriage is on the decline as the average age of a first time bride is now 28. Sensing a marketing opportunity, in steps Triumph with its new Konkatsu bra, which helps desperate women count down the minutes until they "snag" a husband.

Now before you let fly about how offensive the garment is (and it truly, truly is) we think it might have a practical application.

It's just a gimmick and isn't for sale, but we think it would be a hilarious undergarment to wear on a date when you'd really rather the guy run out of your apartment screaming.

Just strip down to the bustier with a countdown to a marriage proposal and watch him speed out the door in horror! We wouldn't try this on a date who works for Homeland Security or your local police force, because it actually looks like some kind of timed explosive device.
