Upper Deck Launches American Idol Trading Cards

Upper Deck has launched a line of 138 American Idol cards. Here's what the complete set of cards includes.
- Randomly inserted autographs from Season 8 Finalists and past Idols including David Archuleta, Michael Johns
- Makeover Lenticular cards showing the Idols' before and after Hollywood transformations
- "Almost an Idol" cards that capture the contestant tryouts from Season 8.
- Cards for the Top 2 finalist from every season, plus cards for favorite Idols including Jordin Sparks, Ruben Studdard, and Jennifer Hudson!
- Cards for past Idol rejects such as William Hung
The cards will hit stores on April 21st.
The cards feature both Upper Deck and American Idol logos.
Update 2022: David Cook from Season 7 recently shared his card on Instagram. He wrote, "Thanks to @americanidol and all of you. And thanks to Upper Deck for fulfilling one of my childhood dreams to be on a trading card, even though the full dream entailed me being on one as a baseball player for the @Royals. But, this still works. I’m calling it a win."
