Nestle USA has announced the launch of Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups in stores nationwide. The cups feature a peanut-buttery filling mixed with crunchy Butterfinger pieces and creamy milk chocolate. There will be an ad for the new candy during this year's Super Bowl on Feb. 2.
A single-size 1.5oz package with two cups will have an MSRP of $0.89 to $1.19. The 3.0oz. four-pack will cost $1.69 to $1.89.
Butterfinger brand manager Jeremy Vandervoet says in the announcement, "The attention and demand for the new Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups are at a level we've never seen before. As we usher in a New Year, we are poised to roll out highly anticipated, innovative offerings like Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups, on the heels of Butterfinger's landmark '90ish' anniversary last year. We're thrilled to give our fans a dose of Butterfinger beyond the bar through this irresistible and delicious new treat."
