Maria Pinto Designs Outifts for Delegates Pitching the IOC
WWDreports that Chicago designer Maria Pinto has created the outfit above as part of a collection for the delegates to wear when they make their final presentations to the International Olympic Committee in Copenhagen. The delegates pitching Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics include First lady Michelle Obama, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett and Oprah Winfrey. WWD says Pinto's collection includes "a sleek jacket, pants, blouse and dress all handcrafted in wool, cotton and silk charmeuse."
The Chicago Tribunereports that Hart Schaffner Marx will design outfits for the male delegates, which includes President Barack Obama.
