Designer Antonio Berardi loves to shock. He achieved his goal with these thigh-high PVC boots that appear to have no heel at all. The boots were shown as part of his Fall/ Winter 2008 collection. Victoria Beckham wore a pair of the boots to her fragrance launch at Macy's in New York, thereby making them de rigeur for the fashion forward. The question is: how in the world does one walk on them? Victoria had David to hold on to, but can you imagine spending more than fifteen minutes in these 5 1/2" gravity-defying wonders? The mind boggles. We're so happy Victoria does these things so we don't have to.
