New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Vetoes Jersey Shore Tax Credit
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is not a fan of MTV's Jersey Shore. He blocked a $420,000 state tax credit for the show. Christie says the show is bad for New Jersey's image.
Christie wrote in a letter to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, "As chief executive, I am duty-bound to ensure that taxpayers are not footing a $420,000 bill for a project which does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens."
It is not clear yet whether or not Christie is going to run for president, although Christie has denied it. Take a look:
