Charisma Carpenter Picks Up a Pain Stick and Heads to New Zealand
Charisma Carpenter is joining the cast of The Legend of the Seeker, the hit fantasy series based on Terry Goodkind's bestselling Sword of Truth series.
Charisma works it out in a tight leather catsuit in this promo photo. She'll play Triana, one of the Mord-Sith warriors. The Mord-Sith are women who have trained to make pain their friend. Somehow we feel that Charisma will be wielding that Agiel (serious pain stick) with style. Ok, the Mord Sith are sort of enforcers for the bad guy, but hey a girl's gotta make a living somehow. We love this show, it's just a blast. It's shot in New Zealand, which has gorgeous scenery. It's also family-friendly.
Richard Cypher, the Seeker, is played with dashing perfection by Craig Horner and his comrade Kahlan the Confessor is perfectly portrayed by the lovely Bridget Regan. They are mentored by the legendary wizard Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, played by the brilliant -- and quite funny -- Bruce Spence.
The premiere of the season two is on November 7, but you can catch up on season one for free at the NBC website for the show.
