Jessie J Pulls Out of Katy Perry Tour Due to Broken Foot

Singer Jessie J. first started her career in the U.S. as a songwriter. She wrote songs for major artists, including Chris Brown and Miley Cryus. Miley Cyrus's popular, "Party in the U.S.A.," was written by Jessie J. Jessie released her first album in the U.S. in February called Who You Are. The album reached as high as #11 in the U.S. and she joined Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour as the opening act. Unfortunately, she now has to leave the tour due to a broken foot.

Katy Perry tweeted that Ellie Goulding has joined her tour. She wrote, "Please welcome @elliegoulding to the #CaliforniaDreamsTour this November! @jessiejofficial hope you feel better soon!"

Jessie J tells ITN she is devastated she had to pull out of the Katy Perry tour, which has dates scheduled through December 1, 2011. It could not have been easy to leave the tour, especially when she is just starting to gain traction in the U.S. Jessie's doctors said her broken foot resembled a "Crunchie bar," so it is smart she stopped performing on it.
