You can add Toys "R" Us to the growing list of retailers that accept game trade-ins. Used games can be traded in for a Toys "R" Us gift card representing the value offered for the trade-in. Gift cards can be immediately used on any product available in Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us stores as well as online at Toysrus.com.
The company said in a press release that used video games in their original cases, with the original case artwork, can be brought to a Toys "R" Us Guest Services desk. Games will then be scanned and prices will be offered for individual titles.
Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop are three other retailers that accept video game trade-ins. Gamestop's bottom line was boosted by the sale of used video games. This likely encouraged Amazon.com and other retailers to start accepting trade-ins.
