Lily Allen graces the cover of the October 2009 issue of Elle UK. Lily Allen has a new blonde look just for the Elle issue. In the interview with , Lily talked about her music.
On Her Target Audience: "I am very aware that there are kids and much older people who get enjoyment out of my music. But I suppose the ones I am really trying to capture the attention of are the people my own age, which is odd because I don’t hang out with people my own age."
On Her Song "Not Fair" Intimidating Men: "Yes, they are, and I wish I'd never written Not Fair [her country and western-style track from It's Not Me about men who are bad at sex]. You know, the thought honestly - really, honestly - never even occurred to me that it would scare men. I thought it might empower women. I thought women would go: 'Oh God, yes, at last somebody is saying it.' I didn't think it would put me in a position where guys would be like, "Whoa, no, I'm not sleeping with you in case you write something about it!"
