Christchurch Earthquake Repairs Could Cost $1.4 Billion

The 7.1 magnitude earthquake the struck Christchurch, New Zealand's second largest city, created a large amount of damage. The Wall Street Journal reports that repairs could exceed $1.4 billion. The earthquake destroyed buildings and cracked roads. You can see some children playing in the cracks in the roads. That probably isn't a great idea. Take a look:
