The economy is bad shape and price of oil is lower than it was earlier this year, but this is not keeping gas prices from climbing. Gas prices are up about 7 cents since last week and they are about $1 higher than Labor Day in 2010. ABC News says airline tickets and hotel prices are also rising. Gas prices do fall when oil prices drop, but they fall very slowly. Take a look:
