The iPad is a Hit on College Campuses as Textbooks Go Digital
As college students return to classes this school year, many have a way of avoiding buying all those textbooks. The iPad is allowing students to carry just one device, and possibly save money along the way. Software called Inklings converts textbooks into enhanced versions of textbooks. Students at Stanford Medical School all use iPads, which the students can write on using a stylus. The AP's Haven Daley reports:
