The Original Jolly Green Giant Was Deemed Too Scary for Children
The first attempt at creating a friendly Green Giant failed. Chow.com reports that the first tv spot for the Green Giant was quickly removed after it was deemed too terrifying for children. He does look scary. Take a look:
