Sony has a very attractive new Walkman coming out next month called the Sony Walkman S540. The thin 10.2mm Walkman has embedded speakers so you can share music with your friends or annoy people on the subway. Electricpig says the speakers have great quality but the mouse-shaped navigation pad on the device isn't very good. The new Walkman also comes with headphones if you don't feel like sharing your music. Sony's appealing design is arriving a little late on the digital music scene but the price - $110 for 8GB model and $130 for 16GB model - may be low enough to encourage people to try the new player.
