Lady Gaga performed her song, "You and I," as Joe Calderone, her greasy male chain smoking alter-ego, at the 2011 Video Music Awards. Lady Gaga is also a mermaid in her "You and I" music video, which would have been a better choice than Joe. Lady Gaga as gave a dance performance as Calderone. Take a look:
