Scientists Invent Headset That Can Change a Cookie's Flavor
Tajuki Narumi and a team of researchers from the University of Tokyo in Japan displayed technology at the Siggraph 2010 that can change the flavor of a cookie. The technology involves odd-looking headgear that enables the wearer to view augmented reality. The headgear also has an air pump chamber that blasts the wearer with different scents. When the plain cookie is stamped with a flavor, such as almond, the device shows the wearer an almond cookie and blasts them with almond cookie scent. Take a look:
