DJ AM, who survived a plane crash nearly a year ago, has been found dead in his New York City apartment. TMZ reports that prescription pill bottles and a glass "crack pipe" were found in DJ AM's apartment. DJ AM has battled drug addiction in the past but it is not clear yet that it was the cause of his death.
