Random House Children's Books has announced the launch of The Poky Little Puppy app. The app is the first of more Little Golden Books apps to come. Random House says The Poky Little Puppy is the bestselling picture book of all time. The book, written by Janette Sebring Lowrey and illustrated by Gustaf Tenggren, is one of the twelve original Little Golden Books published in 1942. The book tells the story of the little puppy who has to go to bed without any strawberry shortcake.
The Poky Little Puppy app retails for $4.99, but is available here on iTunes for $3.99 for a limited time. The app is for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
