First Legoland Hotel in U.S. to Open in Summer 2013
Legoland California has announced that it will open the first Legoland Hotel in Summer 2013. The three-story hotel will have 250 rooms featuring brightly colored Lego decor. It will also contain a pool area and a restaurant.
The announcement was made at the site where the hotel will be built, which is to the right of Legoland California's entrance in an area currently used for bus parking. Children invited from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad wore pajamas to the press conference. Lego bricks came pouring down on to a colorful bed from a big front loader at the press conference.
