Danica Patrick Leaves IndyCar to Join NASCAR Full Time
Driver Danica Patrick announced at a press conference that she is leaving IndyCar in 2012 to join NASCAR full time. She will be racing with JR Motorsports, a NASCAR team co-owned by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller. She will also participate in some Sprint Cup races for Stewart-Haas Racing.
