Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete Crowned Miss Universe
Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete, 22, was crowned Miss Universe last night. Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillipps was the first runner-up and Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, was second runner-up. Here is a video of the crowning ceremony. Bret Michaels was a cohost of the Miss Universe pageant. Take a look:
E! Newsreports that some of Jimena's prizes include beauty products, fashion collections, makeup and a New York Film Academy scholarship.
Navarrete wins a whole bunch of good girly stuff, including a year's supply of hair products and makeup; designer shoe, swimwear and dress collections; and a scholarship from the New York Film Academy for either its filmmaking or acting program.
