The BBC reports that twelve people have charged in an iTunes scam. The group of people created their own songs and then used stolen credit cards to purchase the songs.
A gang is alleged to have created about 20 songs and uploaded them to be sold on the iTunes and Amazon online sites.
They are alleged to have used stolen or cloned credit cards to buy songs worth £469,000 and cream off the royalties.
This is not the only type of iTunes scam going on. There has also been fraud with iPhone apps. App creators have been using stolen credit cards to buy their own iPhone apps to make them rank higher on the iTunes top selling app lists.
