Gregory Brothers Bed Intruder Song Hits Billboard 100
YouTube video hits are starting to make enough sales through iTunes that they are hitting the Billboard 100. GigaOm reports that a Bed Intruder, an Auto-Tune the News single, from the Gregory Brothers landed at number 89 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is also #35 on iTunes.com. The song is based on a news story about Antoine Dodson, local hero who scared off a rapist. Antoine shares in the revenues from the song according to a Wired story. The YouTube video for the song already has over 10 million views. Here is the music video:
